Hello folks,


I will build my Z frame, table and assemblies pretty soon. I just need to clarify something.

On the system drawing and plans in states that the z table frame should be covered with some kind of material.

In some youtube footage I have noticed many machines running just the honeycomb or stripes without anything on the bottom.

My questions then - should there be any bottom surface below the honeycomb, and if yes - what type of material you use.

There's no need for anything under the honeycomb. The laser is much too out of focus to do any damage to the bottom of the enclosure.
