3D Printing Pen

Postby pauliuuus » Tue Mar 10, 2015 1:24 pm

Hello everyone. Has anyone of you ever heard of a thing called 3D printing pen? I was surfing internet looking for presents, and I have found this interesting thing on EBay.

The idea is that it looks like a pen, but you can draw with it like with a 3D printer (up, down and etc). Has anyone had or have one? Is it worth trying? Please let me know what you think.

Here are the listings: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.X3d+printing+pen.TRS0&_nkw=3d+printing+pen&ghostText=&_sacat=0

That's a clone of the 3Doodler (Kickstarter). I would trust the 3Doodler more, but the Chinese thing is cheaper. Is it any good?

Reminds me of the April Fools Shapeoko 3 video, just tried to find it to link it but it looks like they removed it to avoid confusion.

From what I've seen they have all received universally poor reviews.
