buildlog.net Users Map?

Postby whmeade10 » Thu Mar 17, 2011 12:04 am

Hello all,

I am new to this forum but not to DIY CNC machines. I have built a Joe's 4x4 Router CNC and while participating in their forums they had a Google map that showed the location of all the members that were building the CNC. It is quite interesting to see where people are building the same thing that you are, and also neat to see that someone may be close to you as well. While building my CNC Router I found that another member only lived 30 minutes from me. I was able to form a friendship and go and watch his in action before finishing mine.

It would be interesting to see where all the 2.0 and 2.x buildlog.net lasers are being built.

If you would like to be placed on the map, PM me your City, State, and version of Laser being built.

Cheers,
Bill

Sounds like fun!

I'm in St. Louis, MO and gathering the parts to build a 2.x laser.
"This is not my sig", it said. - I looked at it suspiciously; Who's sig was it, then?

That is really cool.

If you are shy about sharing you general area, just pick the closest city with a couple hundred thousand people.

Is there a way to embed a smaller version in one of my pages that links to the full page one?
