I've bought a ton of used test equipment, workbenches, and furniture from DoveBid online auctions. Many of the auctions are for large industrial items, but there are also many with small lots of just about anything imaginable. Works great -if- the auction is local and you can pick up the items yourself, otherwise you have to contract with a packer/shipper (easy to do, but $$). Note that there is an 18% commission added to the winning bid price, plus any sales tax. It's easy to create an account, and the auctions work pretty much like ebay.
