Hi all, i want to ask if someone have ever built a homemade Co2 40w power supply and if there's schematics.

I've seen them on youtube, if you have a look :)

in my opinion a good supply will lengthen the tube life though

There's certainly not much in these supplies but your problem might be buying the parts to make one. The flyback transformers used in these designs are hard to come by (retail) these days and by the time you gather up all the parts you'll likely exceed the cost of the 'Chinese made' power supply anyway. Don't forget there's also control logic involved in this too.

I just bought a PS on EBAY for an 80 watt for $140 + 42 shipping and got it FEDEX in just 10 days. Here's one for $104.00 + free shipping from China (note, they also can change this 110V if required)
