I printed my 2nd design too, the one with the set screw. Using a Z-axis stop at the original position doesn't leave space for a thumb screw so the thumb screw has to be moved to a position further away from the makerslide extrusion. The setscrew however has to remain in line with the limit switch.

- The screws are M4. The one with the off center hole was a drilling exersize for my CuHotE extruder; any M4 screw will do, I needed a 4mm one without a head and used what I had available.

There are 4 holes in the plastic part, 2 are 3.5mm and the rest are 4mm. Tap the 3.5mm ones with an M4 tap (or use the M4 screws for this).
Install it with an M4 socket head screw and a T slot nut.
One full turn of the thumb screw translates to 0.7mm on the Z-axis.
