I closed my eyes :lol: and watched the video afterwards
I really must get some glasses before I finish the machine :geek:

Arc eye, usually known as arc flash is caused by ultraviolet radiation, not from the bright light. Basically a sunburn on your eyes. I have had it a couple times. Once from just being inside a metal building where welding was going on. The walls made perfect reflectors and even though I wasnt looking at the arc it got me. Not fun...
