New Eccentric Spacers

Postby bdring » Wed May 15, 2013 5:41 pm

I just got some new types of eccentric spacers. These were made specifically for use with softer carriage materials like 3D printed parts or laser cut plastics.

The spacers have wider flanges so they won't crush into the material as easy when tightened. The also have a long boss to help keep then vertical.

One has the original length spacer and one is only 2mm tall for a short offset of the wheel that might be used in space sensitive applications like Delta carriages. You will need a skinny wrench to use the shorter ones.

They should go on sale at Inventables later next week.

Here is a shot of the old ones for comparison. For use on metal, I recommend these.
