Wondered if anyone has purchased a lightobject XLE 6040 XY stage ?
Unfortunately, Marco doesn't have any drawings for it and I really do need exterior sizes to work with ASAP.
If someone has one, would they be prepared to offer some relatively accurate sizes ?
Ideally a 3D sketchup model would be the business
Metric would be best too

I could swear I saw somebody on here post a laser project based on it. I can't remember which it was. You'll have to go digging. If my muzzy brain coughs it up later, I'll post it here.

Bringing a post back from the past, but Neil did you ever get this info or did you do the build using the XLE 6040 Lightobject X-Y frame? I am thinking of the same thing..

here's a rough measurement of the 400mm x 600mm

highest area clearance 3.5 " 89mm
A 31.25 794mm
B 19.25 489mm

I am wondering, did you build or are now building a CNC laser using this? Thank you again, its exactly what I needed.

i bought one a couple of years ago with the idea of framing around it as previous cnc builds were hard to keep aligned . i planned on just making a frame but then i saw the mitsumi sale and dove in head first .

so i have the the x-y , 3 axis controller a pc, all mirrors and focus mount , im only short a frame and a laser and focus and miscellaneous bits , i was saving the laser for last as its the single most expensive bit get my mechanics up and running test with a sharpie then buy the laser
