Table surface + honeycomb question

Postby educa » Mon Jan 09, 2012 7:46 pm

Hi,

I see on the plans that the Z table is made out of alu extrusions and then it is indicated in the drawing that you put a table surface on it.

Can somebody please tell me what is a good surface ? And shouldn't that surface be hollow somehow so you can suck the smoke down ? Or is smoke never sucked down but blown/sucked sideways ?

Also, I saw that you can buy honeycomb structure to put onto the table surface. Does that then come in expanded form or is that something you have to unfold yourself? I'm looking for some info about this.

Thanks,

Bart
