Parallel port mode was incorrect in the BIOS. Changing it to EPP seems to have solved everything and all axes move properly.

Finally getting around to posting some pictures. Discovered a fun fact: the laser will work when wired in reverse . The Arch Reactor logo didn't turn out perfectly since I was using an old version and I just dumped it in without cleaning it up. Tonight, I plan to start cutting the skins and getting them installed.

Had some time off this last weekend so I got a lot of work done.
Makerslide installed
Smooth idlers
Y upgrade
Exhaust installed
Completed panels
The only thing that is slightly annoying is that I cut the front panel on the wrong side (glossy vs matte). Oh well

Take the panel off and spray it with a glossy/matte finish? Or just leave it. You're the only one who would notice. All depends on your ability to leave the tiny flaw alone. It'd keep me up at night. I'd run a whole new panel eventually.
