How can I fix the honeycomb to the table frame?

Postby Ischcuch » Sat Jun 29, 2013 12:47 am

I will use 20mm thick expanded Ali honeycomb inside the material support frame. The honeycomb is very thin and flimsy. It will be placed on cross members spaced at 100mm intervals that are fixed to the bottom of the frame.

I would appreciate any advice on how to fix the honeycomb to the edges of the frame.

Usually the edge of the frame would be a C-channel sized so the honeycomb slots into it. If using an L-channel instead you may consider epoxy or wire.
