New Cable Carrier Option

Cicoil FlexRail

I saw this material recently. It looks like a much simpler and cheaper alternative to traditional cable carriers. They have a configuration tool online that lets you add all the cables you want including tubing. They give you an instant price and deliver in a week. It appears that it comes with all the cables in place for that price.

Awesome. I'll have to dig up more info and see about adding this into my CNC machine design.

I am not sure the "configurator" thing directly applies to the FlexRail. It is not clear.

This is a very interesting product. I called and spoke to Eric in Sales at Cicoil. He said that you can choose any of their pre-made motion series cables, which are sold per foot, and have them add the FlexRail to whatever portion of the cable you need it on. He pointed me to the brochure, http://www.cicoil.com/upload/PDF.41.pdf . He said you can email what you're interested in and they will send a quote.
