Wood Award Blanks

Postby whmeade10 » Wed Apr 06, 2011 9:12 pm

My laser is only about 75% complete but I have to look ahead to its first project. Every year we have a family reunion with a Triathlon that I make the awards for. For the past two years I have used my CNC router to make them. This year I will be using the 2.x laser. The blanks only need to be around 5" x 8" or so and 1/2" thick. Does anyone know of some good sources to purchase wooden blanks that would be good for laser engraving? Thanks!

Bart, this is probably not the correct forum for this topic, will you move it to the correct forum?
