Ok, to start: there is no "problem" to solve this time. Everything is working fine so, while waiting for a long print, I thought I would post something I've been curious about for a while and thought one of you geniuses would have the answer.
Watch the following video clip and then tell me if you know what causes the "sing-song / old school midi audio clip" sounds that come out of my printer:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/23h3je9i4xmjbln/20130803_121538.mp4I'm pretty sure it's not the "buzzer" on the Azteeg X3, it would need G-code scattered throughout the print to make tones at different frequencies so my guess is that it's the changing acceleration of the X and Y stepper motors? Anyway, I'm sure one of you will have a more definite and scientific explanation...
