Camera carriage Sub Plate B17045

Hi bdring

I've just purchased the makerslide Camera slider components but I know I'll have to fabricate the sub plate to hold the Nema 17 motor. Is there a scaled dimensioned drawing available of the camera carriage sub plate? The drawing (C30047) of the Camera carriage Assy does not contain a scaled dimensioned version of the sub plate. This would be most useful to mount the motor and the idler wheels accurately with the metal plate that I bought.

Can you accept a STEP file or a DXF?

I can handle a DXF file. Will it be dimensioned?

I was not planning to dimension it. If you are hand fabricating and need the dimensions you should be able to add the dimensions in your software. Try Draftsight if you are new to this.

If that is a problem, let me know. It only takes about 15 minutes to get something through the drafting and QA department.

I'' probably use Autocad. So yes, the software can dimension it.
