Engraving issues.

Postby Groover » Tue Jan 17, 2012 9:00 pm

I have tried some engraving using LO 2012. I have found that I have to go very slow in order to not get fuzzy edges. Anyone knows if there is anything to do about it? Some sort of overshoot setting maybe?

I had the same problem when I had the LO DSP. I ended up reducing my acceleration from 10000 to 4000 and that seemed to reduce the problem to where it looked normal. As you can see it only happens where there is an area that is very short during the engraving sweeps, especially with letters that drop lower than the rest of the line. I was told that I shouldn't turn the acceleration down that low but it worked for me.
