Is DSP All In One Solution?

Postby wildseyed » Fri Mar 30, 2012 4:46 am

My 100 Watt tube arrive earlier in the week. In the sort term, I need to do a quick firing of the laser, just in case it's not working.

I have not purchased electronics yet, and was wondering if the DSP 2012 is an all in one solution for the motion (drives steppers), and laser control (pwm or voltage), or do I need "other" components, in addition to the DSP kit.

Thanks!

I guess "Not Purchased any electronics is in accurate". I do have my power supplies.

What I need now is three stepper drivers AND DSP controlling electronics.

Thanks Walt.

Bart's 4 axis is a good choice. Also, from LO, you can get individual steppers. I have used the DSP with both setups and it works well both ways.
