Yea. This is something I would expect in the job setup not machine setup (optimum would vary between materials). Here are a few links which explain what I'm talking about. In particular I'm trying to get nice clean cost on lasermax material. Adding air assist helped a lot but I still have to cut far to fast to get a clean edge. It sounds like Epilog machines call this Rate and Universal systems call it PPI.

Per programmer, supporting X5 version should be ready in about a week. Supposed available on Decemeber, but the bugs on the DSP card cost him a lot of time to do debugging on both hardware and software.
