No build log?...Post Pictures of your laser here

2.x Laser Finished

Postby Radishworks » Tue Oct 23, 2012 5:58 pm

I never started a build log but I finished my 2.x Laser a couple weeks ago so I thought I'd post a few pics. A HUGE thanks to Bart and everyone else who provided support. This is an amazing well designed machine and works great. I would HIGHLY recommend using the LightObject.com DSP for your laser, it makes using it a breeze. I have another machine that runs with Mach 3, and its a bit fussy.

Here are some pics:

Here is a YouTube Video of it working: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1zwxC-DIKM&feature=youtu.be

And a few of the first test cuts:

Happy cutting!

Thanks again to all,

Congratulations, that looks great!

What is the widget on the front control panel to the right of the three toggle switches?

Its a little flow meter that shows the water is flowing through the laser. I found it on an old CPU cooler I had laying around. Here's a closer pic, the little red thingy spins when the coolant pump is running.
